What do I cover?

I specialise in Vascular Surgery, with specific interests in minimally-invasive procedures for varicose veins, including Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) and ClariVein™. I also treat thread veins, spider veins, red veins and facial veins. Patients also come to see me regarding venous ulceration; venous eczema; deep vein thrombosis (DVT); lymphoedema; leg swelling; phlebitis; venous and arterial disorders; peripheral vascular disease; hernias; subcutaneous lumps and bumps; axillary hyperhidrosis; sports conditions; Sportsman’s Groin; Fascial Compartment Syndrome.

I think the thing that worried me was that I thought I would be ‘out of action’ for several weeks – but this was not the case and the very next day I was walking my dogs a good 40 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon. I also had no pain and never needed to take a pain killer
